AC 1003 – Mystery of the Iceshield Orcs – The Concept

This Village of Red Larch is located in Vestland, north of Trollheim in hex (Vestland+13-6). This represents 17 hexes to the north and 6 hexes to the southwest. This is in the hex in Vestland adjacent to Ethengar and Heldannic Territories. Other the the change in location, nothing needs to be changed to make this adventure work. This used the Iceshield Orcs adventure.

Characters associated with the Ethengarians, Heldannic Territories or Vestland have been ask to look into the Orc agressions.

AC 1003 – Mystery of the Iceshield Orcs – The Reveal

AC 1001 – Giants have started to show up in the Makkres Mountains in large groups.

AC 1002 – Giants have started attacking the settlements of the Iceshield Orcs in larger numbers.

AC 1003 – After a year long war, the Iceshield Orcs have been broken and are forced to leave their lands and migrate in large numbers through Vestland and Ethengar heading North into the Heldannic Territories.

AC 1004 – The Iceshield Orcs pass through the Norwold Region and enter the Icy Wastes and start to set up a new settlement in the region.

AC 1005 – The settlement thrives and brings in all the remaining members of the Iceshield Orcs they can find. Naming the settlement after their lost home Makkres the name of the mountain range they lost.

AC 1003 – Mystery of the Iceshield Orcs – The Outcome

Characters learnt the following information.

  • Giants have taken over the Makkres Mountains and have pushed out all other humanoids
  • They are moving North through the Heldannic Territories to the Wyverns Teeth mountains where they have kin.
  • The Iceshield Orcs are known as the White Orcs (Elemental Air) and built their settlements on top of mountain ranges.
