Forgiveness – verb – to cease to feel resentment against (an offender). pardon forgive one’s enemies. to give up resentment of or claim to requital for forgive an insult. or to grant relief from payment of forgive a debt.

Forgive, condone, excuse, and pardon – synonyms – all these words mean “to exact neither punishment nor redress,”
