AC 1005 – Mystery of the Alphatian Duellers – The Concept
Set in Spring (Months 3 to 5) in AC 1004. I have moved the event to AC 1005 to make it part of Phase Two of the storyline.
Just as the Thyatian military forces have lately been more pushy and arrogant than usual, so have the spellcasters of Alphatia. Alphatian travellers to other nations are conducting more duels to demonstrate their magical superiority, especially against Glantrian spellcasters. These duels are sometimes to the death.
Travellers in Alphatian-controlled territory will notice that there is a much more gung-ho, Alphatia-is-the-best attitude that ever before, and it seems to be empire wide… but there is no obvious origin for it.
AC 1005 – Mystery of the Alphatian Duellers – The Reveal
AC 1005 – There are magic duels being fought all over Norwold and Alphatian Empire controlled territories started by Alphatian Wizards challenging Glantrian Wizards to a duel of magic. Most of the duels end up with the Glantrian wizard slain.
AC 1005 – Mystery of the Alphatian Duellers – The Outcome
This is unknown are this stage, but it has increased the tensions between the Alphatian Empire and the Glantri Principalities.
