AC 1005 – Mystery of the Proclamation – Overview

Wrath of the Immortals – Event E04

This is one of the events that happen in the campaign that character can be part of. This is Event E04. E04 represents the fourth event in the Wrath of the Immortals Campaign which was expected to happen in AC 1004.

    • Mystery in Aegos – A gathering of heroes under a new benefactor seeks to understand the madness gripping the world. A trio to the island of Aegos is arranged to investigate where the missing army of the region has gone.
    • Mystery in Sundsvall – Summer with Glantrian heroes travelling to Sundsvall, Capital of Alphatia to deliver a message from the Princes of Glantri.
    • Mystery of the Alphatian Duellers – Spring with an issues with magic duels and attitude from Alphatian wizards to Glantrian wizards.
    • Mystery of the Proclamation – Summer with an accusation from the Alphatian Empire directed at Glantri.
  • Timeline – AC 1005Glantri
    • School Assignment – Beggars Court. While on assignment from the Great School of Magic your tasked with finding a nobles son and an artefact he stole lost in Beggars Court.
    • Test of High Sorcery. Do the characters have what it takes to be declared a Glantrian Wizard, or will they simply be a hedge wizard or dabbler in the arts.

      • (PC4) Bringing in the Herd – The herd animals in the region are in low supply, so more needs to be obtained to keep the populace safe on the nights of a full moon.

AC 1005 – Mystery of the Proclamation – The Concept

Set in Summer (Months 6 to 8) in AC 1004. I have moved the event to AC 1005 to make it part of Phase Two of the storyline.

The Alphatian Council of Wizards issues a document written and countersigned by Empress Eriadna. In it, the Alphatian spellcasters accuse the Glantrian Great School of Magic of harbouring followers of the Entropic Immortals and using forbidden, evil varieties of magic.

AC 1005 – Mystery of the Proclamation – The Reveal

This message is delivered via magic to every principality in glantri and brought to the governing council of Glantri. This was not received well in any of the locations.

AC 1005 – Mystery of the Proclamation – The Outcome

A delegation was sent to Alpahtian to present the following to the Empress in front of her governing council.

An amused Prince Etienne d’Ambreville, speaking for the other Glantrian princes, replies that there are no followers of Entropic Immortals, or any Immortals, in glantri, since the nation bans clerics of all philosophies.

Also, d’Amberville points out, Glantri does not forbid the study of any variety of magic, therefore there’s no such thing in his country as “forbidden magic”, even if there was, what Glantri’s spellcasters study is their own business, certainly the spellcasters of Alphatia have no right to dictate to them what they can and can’t do.

Lastly, the Glantrians say, will Alphatians please explain what they are talking about?

I am a long term gamer, I run 6 RPG's a fortnight, host board game, card game and LANs each about once a quarter and have an addiction to buying more games. Games I am currently running are Pathfinder (1st and 2nd Edition) and Dungeons and Dragons (5th Edition).
