Overview – Norwold
What is the Norwold Region, it is a series of nations that exist to the north of the Known World on the Continent of Brun.
North of the jarldoms on the main continent lies the Kingdom of Norwold, carved out of the rugged northern coast by mighty warlords – adventurers of exceptional mettle (level 15+) who desire dominions of their own Normally loyal to Alphatia, the warlords have their hands full with petty local intrigues. incursions by unfriendly frost giants, and occasional full-scale invasions by the forces of both Thyatians, and Alphatia. Norwold has a long-standing “land rush” that is expected to continue into the foreseeable future.
Norwold – A collection of smaller nations joined together.

Denogath – A kingdom of the dead. Safest path into this lands is through the lands of the Xenophobic elves of Wendar.
Heldannic Territories – A nation supported by a army of warrior clerics known as the Heldannic Knights.

Wendar – Xenophobic elves of Wendar and homeland of the High Elves of Mystara.
Wymsteeth Mountains – A place where dragons of all types can be found. No one else is welcome.

- Mystery of the Hidden Kingdom of Dragons – Dragonborn arrive – The first glimpses of Dragonborn on records are near the Wrymsteeth mountains, Atruaghin Clans, Karameikos and Ylaruam.
AC 1001 (Tier 1 – Level 2)

- Mystery of the Hidden Kingdom of Dragons – Dragonborn Militia. Large numbers of Dragonbown acting as militia and protecting various areas of the world start to get noticed.

- Visitors from another land – people from a word where the sun revolves around them, and not the other way around venture into the realm with screaming birds of prey – the signature flying machine of the Heldannic Knights.
AC 1002 (Tier 1 – Level 3)

- Mystery of the Hidden Kingdom of Dragons – Dragon Migration. Dragons are seen flying towards the North and the Wrymsteeth Mountains.
- Mystery of the Missing Delegation – An group of delegates from the Heldannic Freeholds were moving south into Vestland (Northern Reaches) and have disappeared.

- The Gnomes are Conquered – The Heldannic Knights take over the lands of the Gnomes, they don’t change any of their culture or identity, but use them to provide a base of operations in the Hollow World.

AC 1003 (Tier 1 – Level 4)
- Timeline – AC 1003 – Norwold Region
- Mystery of the Hidden Kingdom of Dragons – Dragonborn variations. First sightings of different types of dragonborn.
- Mystery of the Iceshield Orcs – They are leaving their home mountains of Makkres Mountains located in Vestland (Northern Reaches) in a mass migration, but no one knows why. Investigators are sent to find our why.
- Mystery of the Travelling Dragonborn – Part 1 – Travelling from Darokin City in three caravans. On headed North, though Ethengar and into the Heldannic Territories. One Headed South, into the Five Shires, through Karameikos, then Thyatis and up the coast of Ylaruam and the Northern Reaches before reaching the Norwold Region. The Last caravan headed east into Ylaruam, then up into Rockhome and out into the Northern Reaches before making it unto the Norwold Region.

- Mystery of the Travelling Dragonborn – Part 2 – The Caravans join up and travel deeper into the Norwold Region.

- Mystery at Castle Naerytar – A mysterious haunted keep located somewhere in the Norwold Region.
- Mystery in Wendar – A protective artefact of the nation of Wendar goes missing under mysterious circumstances.
- Mystery of the Alphatian Duellers – Spring with an issues with magic duels and attitude from Alphatian wizards to Glantrian wizards.
- Mystery of the Iceshield Orcs – A new settlement is finished and the White Orcs (Iceshield) have managed to and together all their tribes into the single settlement. The have called it Makkres in deference to their lost homeland.
- Mystery of the Missing Pilgrims – Summer with pilgrims from the Heldannic Territories disappearing while crossing the Ethengarian steppes.

- Mystery in Wendar – the elven nation of Wendar has put out a call to save their kingdom and the Callarii have answered with local heroes.

- Portal Activation – Castle Naerytar – A portal under the castle has finally been activated.

- Mystery in Wendar – With the loss of their protective Artefact, the elves of Wendar are in a war against the Undead. For the first time in their history they have turned to the Humans of the Heldannic Freeholds for assistance.

Phase Five (Levels 21-25)

- Though depopulated by plague and warfare, the Heldannic Territories nation emerges victorious from the war. The Heldannic Knights are war heroes, having cured the plague and led the fight to repel the invaders. The Knights who made the epic journeys to relieve Glantri and fought in the final battles in Thyatis are treated as legends in their on lifetime.
- With Alphatia gone and Thyatis licking its wounds, the Heldanners look to an undefeated Norwold as a site for future expansion, having already annexed some land hear Landfall. As soon as thy have regrouped and rested their forces, a major northward push to seize new territory can be expected. Their next goal is Oceansend.
- The chaos and infighting of this region continues unabated. Now that Norwold no longer enjoys the protection of might Alphatia, the disorganised area is likely to be invaded by the land-hungry Heldannic Knights in the months ahead.
