Dungeons and Dragons – Mystara
NPC – Shalander
Ambassador Jenkin Flintfoot
Jenkin Flintfoot (Halfling Fighter 7/Rogue 6)
Title: Ambassador of Five Shires in Karameikos
AC 920 – Born in the Five Shires
AC 975 – Age 55 – Assigned to Darokin as Ambassador.
AC 995 – Age 75 – Assigned to Karameikos as Ambassador.
AC 1000 – Age 80 (H6) Converted to Fighter 6/Rogue6
AC 1010 – Age 90 (Fighter 7/Rogue 6)
Jenkin is an aging halfling with long experience in administration. He has been sheriff in his home shire, and now serves his people as a foreign ambassador.
Flintfoot is a cheerful halfling. His temper is even, his manner mild. But he’s a shrewd negotiator and a sharp observer. He works hard to keep relations between Karameikos and the Five Shires cordial, which is difficult because of the proximity of the Black Eagle Barony to the Five Shires. He often collaborates with Esteran Whitehall, the Darokin ambassador, because Darokin and Five Shires interests are often closely aligned. He likes the Duke’s no-nonsense politics and has a dislike (usually well-concealed) of all such political connivers as the Duchess, the ambassadors from Thyatis and Glantri, and their ilk.
Flintfoot is big for a halfling, 3’5″ and 80 pounds. He’s of middle age, his face lined, his paunch formidable. He loves to dress in bright and gaudy hues so that he’ll not be lost in the crowd of human-sized diplomats.
Ambassadors of Mystara
Alfheim (AC 1010) – Benji Frankfoot (Five Shires),
Karameikos (AC 1010) – Aladan Voll (Minrothad, M84, Rog7), Balto Nordenshield (Rockhome, M130, Ftr13), Estella Whitehall (Darokin, F75), Gunter Schonberg (Ierendi, M70, Brd13), Jenkin Flintfoot (Five Shires, M90, Ftr7/Rog6), Lord Cornel Osteric (Thyatian Empire, M55, Ftr9), Marianita Lucia de Leon y Valdex (Glantri, F, Wiz19), Shalander (Alfheim, M120, Pal8/Clr7), Sheik Abdullah ibn Hamid (Ylaruam, Ftr13),
DMing Notes: Jenkin has no delusions about being a Very Important Person, and so the characters may find him to be a sympathetic face at court. If the characters need to know something about the Five Shires, he is the obvious person to see.

Design changes for Character
- Adding in extra advancement for the Demi-Humans of the setting that are NPCs gives them a little more room in the story to surprise the players with what they can do as benefactors.
D&D Halfling Clan Highshire – Five Shires (Mainly Halflings of Earth – Highshire)
Clans home is now the Highshire region of the Five Shires.
Converting Highshire Halflings in BECMI to 5th Edition – Halflings split their advancement from a martial class and a rogue class for the first eight levels, then dedicate themselves to either the martial or the rogue class for the Letter advancement starting at A and going to K. Highshire Halflings prefer Fighter (main) and Rogue (secondary) as their match.
