Detect Poison and Disease
- 1st Level Divination Spell (ritual, divine, nature, senses)

- Casting time: 1 action (or ritual)
- Range: Self
- Area: 30 foot radius from caster.
- Components: V, S, M (a yew leaf)
- Duration: Concentration (10 minutes)
- For the duration of the spell, you may use an action to the presence of a poison or disease by making a Wisdom (Perception) check. Typically noticing and identifying a poison or disease is a DC 10 check, but uncommon afflictions are DC 15, rare afflictions are DC 20 and unique afflictions are DC 25.
- On a failed check, this casting of the spell cannot sense that specific poison or disease.
- The spell can penetrate most barriers, but is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.
- Cast at Higher Levels – When cast as a 2nd level slot or higher, the spell no longer needs concentration. When using a 3rd level slot or higher the duration increases to 1 hour, when using a 4th level slot of higher the duration increases to 8 hours.

- Incorporating the changes added with the Level Up Advanced D&D. This adds a chance of failure to the detection based on the creatures ability to deceive.
