This was a new campaign introducing the Hordes of Ethengar, with players choosing characters who have become part of this society. Using the In the Service of the Golden Khan and Arriving at the Court concept from the Gazetteer.
The horses of the Khanates are also spies as they can communicate with the people of the steppes, and are treated as one of the family.

Characters have to escort the princes while doing various services for the Great Khan including exploring the surrounding nations for signs of weakness or threats.
Awards for service to the Khan is given to each of the characters, and secret missions are called to be done
