This uses events from The Shattered Star Book 1 Shards of Sin. The settlement of Sandpoint is having a festival when goblins attack and they are forced to help defend the village.

Part 1 – A Game Afoot in Magnimar – New recruits into the Pathfinder Society are given their first task: tracking down a missing informant and trying not to get killed in the process
Part 2 – The Seeker’s Shard – The missing informant has been found, but she’s not too happy about it. The heroes must infiltrate her hideout to find out why she went missing – but they’re not alone in wanting answers.
Part 3 – In the Crow’s Nest – The discovery of an ancient artifact—the Shard of Pride – points the way to the second fragment of the Shattered Star, somewhere deep within the ruin known as the Crow.
Part 4 – A Legacy of Wrath – Deep under the Crow, the heroes continue their search for the Shard of Greed, coming up against ever-increasing dangers: devils, derros, and ancient horrors from old Thassilon.
How did I modify it to my TRAP campaign?
For the campaign this was the assigned to Group A after their success in Kaer Maga and being able to work directly out of the Pathfinder Lodge in Magnimar. As a favour to their sponsor they were asked to find her informant in the city. The shard was modified to be imbedded in the arm instead of held as part of the cursed aspect of the item. The using the item as a guide they were lead to the crows nest.
During this time the Hellknights are seen in force in the bay of Magnimar by invite of the Pathfinder society to help fight the influence of the waking gods of sin, the Runelords.
How my players fared
They discovered the location of the lost agent, getting a feel for the town and its politics at a fairly low level. They burn down a house while apprehending their target and have a long conversation with Lady Hindmarsh about what is happening in the city and what is expected of them.
One of their group is coerced by the artefact of sinful pride and cursed with implanting it in his forearm. After this he is able to feel where the next shard can be found. This leads them to the crow’s nest and them forming an alliance with the Tower Girls and wiping out the Mite colony. The they find the catacombs of wrath under the broken pier and make use of a secret Sihedron Medallion to access it. Once finding it with some exploration they they return with information and reports having done well again.

With the multiple plot lines converging in this storyline, it has been going well. They learn a few more details about the Hellknights and why they have chosen to help, and start to learn about the gods of sin who have slumbered for the last 10,000 years and still have ruins dedicated to them scatted over this region.
