Pathfinder 2 – Adventures
4708 P1 (Level 1)
The settlement of Kaer Maga is having bodies stolen out of the Crypt of Pharasma and need a group to investigate and stop it happening further.
How did I modify it to my TRAP campaign?
Due to a character of Pimwinkle being cursed for messing up a holy rite for the Goddess Pharasma, the group was invited to solve a problem for the church causing deaths of its priests in the settlement of Kaer Maga. Completion of this should lead to the minor curse being lifted from the character.
I have added in the Runecursed aspect to the region as well as made most of the NPCs a conversation point first before being attacked.
I have also modified the Sihedron Medallions without detailing them to the players, at this stage they know the following: Only on character who finds it can see it, and with it they can manipulate sites associated with Thassilonia and the gods of sin.
How my players fared
They broke an ancient seal, chose not to delve deeper than they were asked, found a shrine to the seven gods of sin, and pharamsa, each with a statue representation and burial crypt, lost three party members and a puppy, the discovered a Sihedron Medallion, and a character became runecursed.
Pimwinkle was brought back to life with the understanding he could no longer prepare or serve and food to another or Pharasma would revoke his second life.
Total time to complete
- GroupA (Wednesday) – 7 sessions
The investigation went well, introduced the repercussions or resurrection and had a detailed look at the different gods of Sin an their sins. Was able to link this into the Welcome to Kaer Maga storyline. Upon completion of this adventure the characters were advanced to the middle of the year and gained a level.
