Halberd of the Guard (W032)

• Magical Item – Rare – Halberd of the Guard – 12,000 gp
  • Standard: Grants proficiency in its use, and if you are already proficient then it grants you one weapon option, even if you are not at the expert level with the weapon. You can’t be surprised, while wielding this weapon. You have a bonus of +1 to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
  • Attunement: Grants skilled proficiency in its use, and if you are already skilled then it grants you one weapon option, even if you are not at the expert level with the weapon. If you attune this item it also adds one dice to the dice of damage.
  • This magic weapon warns you of danger. While the weapon is on your person, you have advantage on initiative rolls. In addition, you and any of your companions within 30 ft of you can’t be surprised, except when incapacitated by something other than non-magical sleep. The weapon magically awakens you and your companions within range if any of you are sleeping naturally when combat begins.
  • Relic: Humans gain one extra level of proficiency, Thyatian also gain an additional weapon option. If you are Human the detection range increases by 10 ft. If you are Traladaran, your detection range increases out by another 10 ft. If used by a Giant it provides an extra dice against Dragonkin.

In darkness, the unsheathed blade of this sword sheds moonlight, creating bright light in a 15 ft radius and dim light for an additional 15 ft.
  • Attunement: Grants skilled proficiency in its use, and if you are already skilled then it grants you one weapon option, even if you are not at the expert level with the weapon. Increase the radius by 15 ft.
  • Relic: Humans gain one extra level of proficiency, Thyatian also gain an additional weapon option.If you are a Halfling, your family name and clan appears on the blade taking on your heritage. If you are an Eastshire Halfling, you have lowlight vision while attuned to this item.
