Calling upon dark and twisted powers, you are ablet o cause an enemy’s own shadow to rise up against him. This manifestation causes the shadow to cloak itself around its owner, making him very sucseptible to attacks from negative energy.

The subject must be casting a shadow for this spellto have any effect, and thus wull not work in pitch blackness or against vampires. If the target fails a Charisma saving throw, they are attacked by their own shadow and they receive the following effects:

  • Necrotic damage is doubled
  • Healing is halved
  • Saving throws vs Necromancy is at disadvantage

Calling upon dark and twisted powers, you are ablet o cause an enemy’s own shadow to rise up against him. This manifestation causes the shadow to cloak itself around its owner, making him very sucseptible to attacks from negative energy.

The subject must be casting a shadow for this spellto have any effect, and thus wull not work in pitch blackness or against vampires. For the duration of the spell, however, the subject will cast no shadow at all as it envelopes his body. A Will save is permitted to negate the effects of this spell. If this is failed, the subject suffers the following penalties for the duration of the spell.

  • Any hit point reducing necromantic spell targeting the subject will automatically cause extra damage equal to the caster’s level.
  • Any save required to reduce or negate the effects of a necromantic spell suffers an additional -1 penalty.
  • All healing spells will cure less damage then normal, equal to the caster’s level.
