Nybor Overview

Renowned for its racial tolerance, this peaceful farming community has a greater number of half-breeds per capita than anywhere else in Varisia, and strongly encourages interracial marriages. While the town occasionally draws the ire of puritan sects, many are the young Magnimarian noblewomen who are quietly bundled up and shipped off to Nybor when illicit flings result in pregnancy.

Nybor is perhaps the most racially accepting settlement in Varisia and ranks highly among the list in all of Golarion. Located on the southern shores of Ember Lake and bordering the Sanos Forest, the peaceful farming community has a more half-breed per capita than any other Varisian city. Interracial marriages are not only tolerated, but promoted, making it a haven for those who find themselves in precarious situations involving illicit pregnancies and other affairs which might be judged harshly in more puritanical locations. Being so close to the Sanos Forest, Nybor is also home to a sizable gnome population.

  • Festival of Acceptance – half-breeds from all over Varisa arrive for a week long celebration of their differences and uniqueness. Sponsored by the Church of Densa and Shelyn and known for its colour and blending of cultures.
