Expendable Items can be attuned on use, at the cost of a random attuned item and slot.

  • Magical Item – Uncommon – Broom of Flying – 400 gp
    • Standard: This wooden broom, which weighs 3 lbs, functions like a mundane broom until you stand astride it and speak the command word. It then hovers beneath you and can be ridden in the air. It has a flying speed pf 50 ft. It can carry up to 400 lb, but its flying speed becomes 30 ft while carrying over 200 lb. The broom stops hovering when you land.
    • You can send the broom to travel alone to a destination within 1 mile of you if you speak the command word, name the location, and are familiar with the place. The broom comes back to you when you speak another command word, provided that the broom is still within 1 mile of you.
    • Attunement: The base speed increases by 10 ft. You can command the boom to sweep up around you clearing debris and dust within 30 ft of you. This includes pushing a swarm away from you and keeping it at least 30 ft from your location.
    • Relic: If you are an elf, you can use the broom without hands.

A great hero once wielded this item. Anyone who’s familiar with the item ‘s history expects great deeds from the new owner. This wooden broom, which weighs 1 lbs, functions like a mundane broom until you stand astride it and speak the command word. It then hovers beneath you and can be ridden in the air. It has a flying speed pf 50 ft. It can carry up to 400 lb, but its flying speed becomes 30 ft while carrying over 200 lb. The broom stops hovering when you land. It has a flying speed of 50 feet. It can carry up to 400 pounds, but its flying speed becomes 30 feet while carrying over 200 pounds. The broom stops hovering when you land.

You can send the broom to travel alone to a destination within 1 mile of you if you speak the command word, name the location, and are familiar with that place. The broom comes back to you when you speak another command word, provided that the broom is still within 1 mile of you.
