- Magical Item – Uncommon – Bag of Holding – 400 gp
- Standard: Bag weighs 15 lb, with an interior space of 2 ft by 4 ft and can hold up to 500 lb or 64 cubic feet of material. If overloaded the bag will burst, and items are lost on the Astral Plane. Creatures in the space can live 1 to 10 minutes before suffocating. If turned inside out, all items spill out at that location. A bag of holding cannot be placed in another extra-dimensional space, and neither can it be taken through any form of dimensional travel such as fey step to teleport.
- Attunement: You double the interior space. You can suppress the connection to allow you can take it through extra-dimensional travel without leaving it behind by taking a short rest, but need to take another short rest to re-tether the bag to its extra-dimensional space with a DC 15 Arcana check. A roll of 1 turns it into a bag of devouring instead.
- Relic: If you are Human you can tether the item without a check. If you are Alasiyan, you can suppress or tether the bag as a standard action.

- Magical Item – Very Rare – Rogues Bag of Holding – 20,000 gp
- Standard: Design of the bag is lost to time, it is old, and no one knows who or where it was built, but it was crafted in human styles. Bag weighs 15 lb, with an interior space of 2 ft by 4 ft and can hold up to 500 lb or 64 cubic feet of material. The item’s bearer becomes obsessed with material wealth.
Attuning to this item takes only 1 minute.
- Awakened: The item makes loud slurping sounds when it takes an item into it, and makes retching sounds when you remove an item. The bag itself does not register as magical by any known means, nor does divination work against it.
- Exalted: This item ignores the restrictions on dimensional travel for items that contain a dimensional space, this includes artefacts. It can also communicate with its attuned owner, if it chooses to, about the items held within. The bag can refuse to give items and may require a persuasion roll to release something it is holding, with the difficulty increase by the magical rarity of the item inside.
- Relic: If you are Human you can tether the item without a check. If you are Alasiyan, you can suppress or tether the bag as a standard action.

Design Decisions – Bag of Holding
With the changes to how dimension spaces and travel interact in the setting, the notes on what happens when they interact are not relevant in my campaign world as it is impossible to bring an active extra-dimension space into another extra dimensional space or via teleportation without special properties involved.
Original Item – Bag of Holding

BAG OF HOLDING
Wondrous item, uncommon
This bag has an interior space considerably larger than its outside dimensions, roughly 2 feet in diameter at the mouth and 4 feet deep. The bag can hold up to 500 pounds, not exceeding a volume of 64 cubic feet. The bag weighs 15 pounds, regardless of its contents. Retrieving an item from the bag requires an action.
If the bag is overloaded, pierced, or torn, it ruptures and is destroyed, and its contents are scattered in the Astral Plane. If the bag is turned inside out, its contents spill forth, unharmed, but the bag must be put right before it can be used again. Breathing creatures inside the bag can survive up to a number of minutes equal to 10 divided by the number of creatures (minimum 1 minute), after which time they begin to suffocate.
Placing a bag of holding inside an extradimensional space created by a Heward’s handy haversack, portable hole, or similar item instantly destroys both items and opens a gate to the Astral Plane. The gate originates where the one item was placed inside the other. Any creature within 10 feet of the gate is sucked through it to a random location on the Astral Plane. The gate then closes. The gate is one-way only and can’t be reopened.
