Base Item – Slippers of Spider Climbing

Price: (1d6) x100 gp (100 to 600 gp) – 50% for consumable items
Base Price: 400 gp or 200 gp for expendable
Expendable Items can be attuned on use, at the cost of a random attuned item and slot.

- Standard: To use the item, you need to spend a bonus action to activate it until the end of your turn. Once activated, you can move along surfaces, but if you don’t end your action standing normally your slippers stay attached to the surface and you automatically fall. They remain attached to this surface until the next dawn.
- Attunement: While you wear these light shoes, you can move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and upside down along ceilings, while leaving your hands free. You have a climbing speed equal to your walking speed. However, the slippers don’t allow you to move this way on a slippery surface, such as one covered by ice or oil.
- Relic: If you are a human you can also use your hands (or another part of your body) to hold yourself to a surface. If you are an Alasiyan, while attuned you can attach or detach the slippers from a surface as a free action allowing others to use them as hand holds.

- Magical Item – Very Rare – Assassin’s Slippers – 20,000 gp
- Standard: Made by the people of Darokin, these slippers are utilitarian and was made for an assassin who crept into people’s windows at night. If you don’t feed it blood (any blood), it will not The item delights in death and will grant the wearer happiness every time they kill someone. If someone else kills the creature your attacking, you become angry at them and the slippers cease to work till you next kill and intelligent creature. This item is tied to the Sphere of Entropy and radiates necromancy when detected. To use the item, you need to spend a bonus action to activate it until the end of your turn. Once activated, you can move along surfaces, but if you don’t end your action standing normally your slippers stay attached to the surface and you automatically fall. They remain attached to this surface until the next dawn.
- Attunement: While you wear these light shoes, you can move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and upside down along ceilings, while leaving your hands free. You have a climbing speed equal to your walking speed. However, the slippers don’t allow you to move this way on a slippery surface, such as one covered by ice or oil. They also require 1 hp from the attuned owner to work for 24 hrs, and will reset the 24-hr period with another hp. It will not release hit points until after the full 24 hrs finish and you start and complete a longer rest. Each intelligent creature slain provides you with temporary hit points equal to their level. This disappears at the end of a rage, short or long rest.
- (Curse) If someone else kills the target of your attacks, then you need to roll under your intelligence on an Int check or go berserk (or if a barbarian a rage) attacking everything in sight. This then causes your slippers to become awakened.
- Relic: If you are a human you can also use your hands (or another part of your body) to hold yourself to a surface. If you are an Alasiyan, while attuned you can attach or detach the slippers from a surface as a free action allowing others to use them as hand holds.
- Awakened: The slippers reduce your con modifier by 1 and can never be removed as it fuses with your feet. Each intelligent creature you kill provides +1 con modifier and removed the need to rest to avoid exhaustion but spending one of the +1 con modifiers gained. If you start a long rest you loose all gained con modifiers and if you are reduced to 0 hit points by this effect, you are sucked into the item and make it exalted for as many years as you have levels.
